Il mar Tirreno si inoltra nell'ampio Golfo di
Castellammare e lambisce il piccolo promontorio roccioso su
cui si adagia BALESTRATE. Ad Est e ad Ovest si prolungano,
per chilometri, due meravigliose spiagge dalla sabbia dorata
e finissima, con fondali bassi ed acqua cristallina. A
ridosso della spiaggia Ovest c'è un vasto bosco di pini,
eucaliptus e tamerici.
LA MER ET LES PLAGES
BALESTRATE, du haut de son petit promontoire rocheux
surplombe le Golfo de Castellammare, profondémment baigné
par les eaux de la merTyrrhénienne. A l'Est et a l'Ouest s'étendent
sur des kilomètres deux magnifiques plages de sable fin et
dorè aux eaux cristallines et peu profondes. L'artière
plage est bordée d'une pinède et d'un bois d'eucalyptus et
de tamaris.
THÈ BEACHES AND THE SEA
Thè Tyrrhenian sea flows into thè farge Gulf of
Castellammare, lapping thè rocky shore, on wich BALESTRATE
has been built. Two beautifui fine golden sand beaches
extend to thè East and to thè West for long kilometers,
while waters along thè shore are invitingly crystal-clear
and shallow. dose behind thè west-side beach rise pine,
eucalyptus and tamarisk woods.
MEER UND STRAND
Das Tyrrehnische Meer dringt in den weiten Golf von
Castellammare hinein und se/ne Wellen umspùlen den
Feisvorsprung, auf dem sich BALESTRATE ausbreitet. Westlich
und óstlich vom Dorf erstrecken sich kilometerweit zwei
herrliche Strànde mit goldenem, feinem Sand, geringen
Wassertiefen und Kristallkiarem Wasser. Im Hinterland des
westlich gelegenen Strandes liegt ein Wald mit Pinien,
Eukalypten und Tamarisken.
