Discover Pretoria square at night from a vantage point as may be the balcony of an old building. It will enter the palace overlooking the ancient heart of the city and you will walk in the alcove of Venus and Saturn hall: the guides will take you through the halls of the exhibition “Divine Love – The contemporary art of love enigma”, which has been extended until 30 April (timetables: Monday to Friday from 10 all 13,30 and from 14,30 all 17).

Inspired by Titian canvas 1514, “Profane Love Sacred Love”, The exhibition - curated by Alba Romano Pace, art direction by Lucio Tambuzzo - questions, the eternal enigma of love through the visual language of art. The works on display – video, installations, paintings and sculptures – interlace techniques and different languages ​​and cultural identity and grafted sensory evocations focusing on the interaction between man and nature. The purpose is to create a sort of phenomenology, mettendo in evidenza contrasti e affinità che corrono tra le sue due più forti espressioni, la celeste e la terrena,. Si mostra così come ogni elemento dell’amore può essere l’uno e il suo contrario, ma mandare un unico messaggio di pace richiamando l’attenzione su un “patrimonio immateriale ed universale”.

Il percorso espositivo si articola in cinque stanze, una per ogni tema, di cui si presentano due aspetti (terreno e celeste): Il Chiarore e l’Oscurità; Corpo spirituale e corpo materiale; L’Acqua purificatrice e la Fonte della vita; L’Eden e il Giardino delle delizie; Veneri e Sante.
